F.A.Q.
Q. Are your birds hand-fed?
A. Yes!!! We hand-feed all of our baby birds. You will
notice right away how tame our birds are.

Q. Are you a hobby breeder or a business?
A. We are a business. We do have a Seller's Permit
from the State of Wisconsin.

Q. Do you ship your birds?
A. Sorry, we do not.

Q. Are you a pet shop?
A. We are not. We operate the business from our home.

Q. Do you offer free wing clipping "for life" on the
birds you sell to local residents?
A. We do not. It sounds like a nice thing to do, but if
somewhere down the line a sick bird was brought into
the house for a trim , it would put the rest of the flocks
health in jeopardy. Our birds nails and wings are
trimmed for you before purchase.

Q. Can I come over to see your birds?
A. We are whats called a "closed aviary" and do not
allow the general public in to see the birds. The #1
reason for this is for the health of our flock. If
someone was to bring in a bird sickness (on their
shoes, clothing, etc...), it could make one or more of
our birds sick. Also, we do run the business from our
house so for obvious reasons (security, no showroom,
etc...) we do not allow visitors.

Q. How can I choose the right bird for me?
A. First, do some research on the bird you are thinking
of purchasing. Each species have their own traits and
each bird is an individual.
If we have more than 1 bird of the species you want,
we can bring additional birds (when we meet), so you
can choose the right bird for you.
Our birds are guaranteed to be free from sickness &
disease at the time of purchase.

Some of the steps we take to keep our flock healthy
are...we do not allow visitors, we do not take our birds
to sell at bird fairs where they will be exposed to other
birds, we keep a clean aviary & nursery, and our
birds are on a very healthy diet.

A " closed aviary " is normal in the bird business, and
any reputable bird breeder serious about keeping their
flock healthy would (or should) adhere to the closed
aviary concept as much as possible. A bird purchase
should not be thought of in the same manner as a
puppy or kitten purchase.
